We only do Estate and Business law, we don't dabble in other areas of law. We are a Wealth Counsel member firm, which gives us access to the collective wisdom of thousands of legal professionals when drafting your unique documents, and when dealing with novel situations.

In most cases we bill by flat fee. You want to know what something costs upfront with no surprises. We understand that. A flat fee is how you buy everything every day. Your coffee, lunch, etc. Why should legal services be any different? When you know what something is going to cost, you can make timely decisions in other areas of your life. Imagine your Starbuck barista charging by the hour. Ridiculous! 

As far as pricing, you expect a pocket change menu at a fast food joint, but not at a fine dining restaurant. If you see legal services being offered for pocket change, be aware that you'll likely only get what you pay for. Something probably hazardous to your heath. 

Ask yourself, do you want to trust your affairs to someone working for minimum wage, or someone with deep knowledge and decades of experience in the services provided?

The judicial procedure by which a testamentary document is established to be a valid will, the proving of a will to the satisfaction of a court. In plain English; a procedure after your death in which your will or intestate estate (your wishes and stuff gets divvied up by the court, publicly,  if you didn't have a good estate plan), by a court in a public proceeding, that can be challenged publicly by virtually anybody.

You can avoid probate in most cases by having a good estate plan and funding it.

Don't make your people go through probate, it stinks, get your affairs in order today.

There is little value in a Will alone. We don't compete with the will and trust mills out there, that lure you in with a free, or cheap will, only to hard-sell a more expensive one size fits all product later. We feel that your situation is unique and should be treated as such. The short answer is no.

Once we meet with you and discuss your needs and desires, we can usually put a complete plan together in a matter of weeks from the time you provide us with all the necessary information requested at our initial conference. Plan to update it periodically, as your circumstances change.
